Radiology and Ultrasound

Imaging is an important tool in non-invasive diagnostic care. Radiographs are helpful when assessing the health of your companion's body systems, including the heart and lungs, liver, spleen, kidneys, and urinary bladder. They help us evaluate bones, joints, and the oral cavity.

Ultrasound is the use of high-frequency sound waves to create images of internal organs. Ultrasound can help us identify masses and subtle changes in the organs that might not be visualized on a radiograph. These two modalities work together to create the most accurate picture of your companion's health.
